ZIMO LOKPL96LV MX696 5V Output Adapter Board - 2.54mm Header Pin (3x10)

Decoder adapter boards serve as an "intermediate part" between the locomotive and decoder.  The various components of the locomotive are connected to the adapter board instead of directly to the decoder which allows for an easy exchange of the decoder when necessary.  

The adapter board is purely a wiring termination board without its own function.  The wires from the various components of the locomotive are connected to the adapter board.  The decoder is inserted into the adapter board and can be exchanged if necessary making it interchangeable with no additional modification to the model.

"V" model adapter boards also offer a 5V low voltage power source and complete servo connectors (ground, +5V, control line).

LOKPL96BS - 40 solder pads
LOKPL96BV - 46 solder pads, 4x solder pad servo connections, 1x 5V low voltage output
LOKPL96KS - 2x10 screw terminals
LOKPL96KV - 3x10 screw terminals, 4x3-pin standard servo connections, 1x 5V low voltage output
LOKPL96LS - 2x10-pin connectors
LOKPL96LV - 3x10-pin connectors, 4x3-pin standard servo connections, 1x 5V low voltage output

NOTE: LOKPL96LS (or LV) boards left connector pin configuration is fully compatible with LGB locos with 10-pin "DCC interface".


GOLDCAPS may be connected directly to the decoder or LOKPL96 with the addition of a resistor-diode pair to limit in-rush current.
